Activefilings.com Sponsoring Startup Weekend Miami

Every business has a responsibility to give back to the community where they live. At activefilings.com, we may be primarily internet-based, but we are also a proud member of the Miami, Florida community and we see it as our responsibility to give and not take.

One way we are doing that is by sponsoring the upcoming Startup Weekend Miami on November 19th through the 21st in our hometown of Miami, Florida. For those who haven’t heard about Startup Weekend, it is a worldwide event with the mission of helping budding entrepreneurs take their great idea from a dream to an actionable plan by bringing in experts from all disciplines that an entrepreneur-to-be would need.

Attendees will come away from Startup Weekend Miami with the confidence they need to become a small business owner. More than 700 businesses have formed as a result of these weekend events and it’s highly probable that yours could as well but only if you attend.

One of the first things that a new entrepreneur must do is register their business with state and federal agencies. Business registration can be confusing to young business leaders so the activefilings.com staff will be on hand the entire weekend to answer any business registration questions that the attendees might have.

In addition to being on hand at the event, we will also be offering a special incorporation package. This package includes everything a new business owner needs to be an official incorporated entity on file with the state where their business will reside. This package will be available exclusively at Startup Weekend Miami.

If you haven’t yet registered for this event, there’s still time. Join the Global Battle in Miami here  http://miami.startupweekend.org

Your idea will literally become a business plan that you can present to venture capitalists in attendance and potential business partners. You will be able to take this plan and make it come alive as it transforms you from somebody who worked for somebody else to a business owner.
