Business incorporation in Colorado can offer advantages

Many entrepreneurs know the value of picking the right location for business formation. Now, the Small Business & Entrepreneurship Council offers insight on some of the best places in the country for business incorporation.

BizJournals.com reports that the council has named Colorado the nation’s 10th best state tax environment for small business. The council’s Business and Tax Index 2010 reports Colorado offers low corporate income taxes – the eighth lowest in the country.

Colorado was also ranked highly for its low corporate gains tax rates, low personal income tax rates, low local property taxes and unemployment taxes.

The Colorado Business Express web page demonstrates that the state not only offers tax advantages, but strives to give entrepreneurs the tools needed for startup success. The website offers entrepreneurs all of the information they need to interact with the government.

Secretary of State Bernie Buescher is quoted on the site as saying, “instead of surfing the internet or standing in line at four separate state and federal departments, people will be able to get their crucial businesses information online by visiting a single website.”

Additionally, entrepreneurs – incorporating in Colorado or elsewhere – may find useful information about state and national business taxes and filing procedures through online incorporation websites.
