The State Legislature implemented a new law requiring Limited Liability Companies (LLCs) to file an annual report with the Secretary of State’s Office or face administrative dissolution. This is the first year LLCs were required to file an annual report with the Agency.
All corporations doing business in Mississippi are required to file an Annual Report with the Mississippi Secretary of State. Those reports are due by April 15th of this year.
Pursuant to Section 79-29-215 Miss. Code Ann. (1972), all limited liability companies operating in Mississippi will be required to file an Annual Report with the Secretary of State beginning in 2011. Here is what you have to know about this new filing.
